I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream…For Frozen Yogurt!

I’ve been on the frozen yogurt bandwagon since I was munchkin at TCBY. There are now dozens of different options to tickle our taste buds, and you’re likely to find me at a fro-yo place at least once a week. I’m getting my calcium, right?

The fabulous people over at Ciao Bella have been busy whipping up the perfect fro-yo fix for home. Adonia Greek Frozen Yogurt by Ciao Bella hit stores just last month. The “new line of naturally better-for-you desserts” includes mouth-watering flavors like Blueberry, Espresso, Key Lime, Mango, Peach, Raspberry and Vanilla. AND yogurt bars – Blueberry & Vanilla, Peach & Vanilla. This Greek goddess of the ice cream aisle is under 130 calories, fat free and contains nine grams of protein per serving.

With so many flavors it was hard to know where to start, but the Peach and Key Lime are tops, followed closely by Vanilla and Raspberry. Oh, let’s be honest, they’re all amazing. It’s a bit thicker than most fro-yo you buy in stores, and had a Gelato-Italian bite to it. Plus-up, this Greek delight is fat-free! Norak voted for the peach and my dad actually likes the frozen yogurt as well – this coming from a man who totally indulges in rich ice cream.

And wait, it gets better. You want to try Adonia Greek Frozen Yogurt by Ciao Bella?? Say grazie to the fine makers at Ciao Bella because you can!

  1. I love how Greek frozen yogurt is now available in pints! Heck yes! I can’t decide if I’d rather have the blueberry or the vanilla. Hmmm maybe I’d mix them!!

  2. Oh I love Ciao Bella and am so happy they make Greek frozen yogurt now – can’t wait to try it! I’d love to try the espresso. They definitely should add a chocolate flavor to their line…I’d also love to see a melon flavor of some sort…honey dew, cantaloupe, or water melon! Melon is usually in the mix of the fruit added to my morning bowl of Greek yogurt! yum!

  3. Vanill and Espresso would be my picks. If I had to make my own flavor I would do PB&J since I tend to mix PB and raspberry preserves in to ice cream/fro-yo already anyway.

  4. I want to try the peach. and the blueberry. and all the rest of them. I haven’t been able to find this yet, so I think they need to send me some.

my favorite flavors when I make them at home, always include something non ice cream or non yogurt like – pieces of cheesecake, pieces of brownie or pie crust… that kind of yumminess. so, I’d make anything fruit flavored with some fun additions. Mmm..

  5. I already tweeted you this, but I really want to try the peach vanilla bars because peach is one of my all time favorite flavors! I’d love to see some kind strawberry cheesecake type yogurt…….doesn’t that sound heavenly?!

  6. I really want to try the mango flavor- yum! I think they could use a strawberries ‘n cream flavor. Or cookies ‘n cream. Basically, I just like things ‘n cream.

  7. That fro-yo sounds divine!
I’m definitely a fruity girl, so I’m thinking the peach would be awesome.
If I had to make a flavour, I’d call it Hula Girl. It would be a pineapple/guava combo!

  8. YUM!! If it’s greek fro-yo, I have GOT to try it! I am not able to eat many dairy products, but have found that I can tolerate anything “greek” 🙂 Out of the flavors you listed, Espresso definitely makes my mouth water!!!

  9. Ooo sounds good! I’ve never tried it before, but I definitely love froyo! Raspberry and blueberry sound good to me.

  10. This is life changing haha! I would try the peach because it just says GA summers to me! And definitely peanut butter or cookies and cream for a dream-flavor 🙂 thanks for the inspiring blog

  11. Ooooo! Looks so good! I’d like to try the peach or blueberry! I’d make a chocolate flavor of some sorts! I can’t wait to try this !!!

  12. I definitely want to try the blueberry, and if I were to make a flavor of froyo it would be cookies and cream.. A healthier way to enjoy my favorite thing in the world, Oreos!
