Coffee & News

Happy Friday loverlies. Hope everyone is ready to crush it this weekend and have fun doing whatever it is you are doing, even if it’s nothing.

There were too many good bits in this week’s news to not share my faves. Grab your coffee and get comfy.

Ask the Celebrity Trainer: Treadmill, Elliptical, or StairMaster?: Shape Magazine helps answer this tough question and I am a huge fan of the answer. Tough love here –
If your goal is to lose weight, none of these gym machines are truly the best answer. Additionally, it’s important to clarify what most people really mean when they say they want to “lose weight.” In my experience, most people want to lose fat, not weight….You can’t out train a poor diet.” Brilliant!

Tracy Anderson Workout Quickie: I would kill for a training session with Tracy. There is something authentic about Tracy and she has a the celebrity body track record to show for it. I found a workout short Tracy did for promoting Stella McCartney’s Adidas line. It’s great for learning some of her secret star moves.

8 Ways To Motivate & Get Off Your Cold Weather Butt: Oh the weather outside is frightful. Self Magazine has some tips that will warm you right up and out the door. Sign up for a local charity race or update your playlist. Don’t let the cooler weather keep you in. Weather is an excuse for wimps, ha!

Any good reads this week that I missed? Please share!
